FORGOT YOUR DETAILS?

COMMERCIAL ROOF REPLACEMENT

Over time, your roof system can deteriorate as a result of weathering, initial workmanship, or equipment installation. Depending on the age of the respective building envelope and roof system, we will perform a diligent inspection and present several replacement solutions. Our team will work closely with you to ensure these solutions meet your budget, mitigate disruptions to your daily operations, comply with commercial building codes, and afford you a long-term investment.

Single-Ply Roofing

A standard material for low-slope roof systems, single-ply roofing membranes are generally factory made sheets composed of thermoplastic and thermoset products. They are lightweight and offer cost-effective “cool roof” benefits and Title 24 compliance. Flexible to budgets and needs, we can install and upgrade single-ply roof systems using various methods, including ballasted, fully adhered, mechanically attached to an approved substrate, or as a protected membrane roof.

Fluid Applied

Madsen specializes in Silicone, Acrylic, and Catalyzed Urethane. Ideal for new construction and roof restoration, fluid-applied roofing systems not only provide superior protection from water infiltration through the roof but is an excellent choice for difficult flashing details.

Shingle/Shake Roofing

Ideal for steep slope systems, shingle roofing is a cost-effective alternative to metal and tile roofing. The initial installation costs are moderate because shingles are generally easy to size and attach to the roof deck, and they serve as a flexible complement to most roofing systems including single-ply and built-up roofing. Over the life of the roofing investment, shingles will stand-up to all weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and offering a 25+ year lifespan. Shingles can be aesthetically customized and are available in a spectrum of materials..

Metal Roofing

A reliable commercial roofing system that offers a myriad of competitive advantages over other systems, metal roofing is available in a variety of profiles, pigments, and textures—all affording architectural appeal and durability. This flexible roofing material is perhaps the most effective source of protection against fires and adverse weather conditions. Its steep slopes boast minimal life-cycle costs and offer rapid water shedding ability. Metal roofing also qualifies as a cool roof system and is highly respected by the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star Roof Products Program. Metal roof systems:

Offer durability, thus reducing maintenance costs over 30+ year life span.

Can achieve California's Title 24 cool roof requirements.

Are weather resistant to wind, hail, ice, snow, and heat.

Are lighter than most non-metal roofing membranes.

Are 100% recyclable at the end of its useful life.

Tile Roofing

Generally produced in concrete or clay, tile roofing is available in a spectrum of pigments and finishes, empowering architects and building owners with sophisticated design options. Although initial installation costs can be substantial, tile roofs are known to have a long life span with minimal maintenance requirements.

BUR (Built-Up Roofs)

For many low-slope roofing systems, we recommend and install Built-up Roof membranes. Composed of alternating layers of bitumen and reinforcement fabrics (felts), built-up roofs can be hot or cold applied and afford quality moisture resistance and protection from extreme winter and summer conditions.

Modified Bituman

Modified Bituman Roofing Systems can be hot or cold applied and are designed for industrial commercial buildings with low slope or flat roof structures. These roofing systems provide resistance to both cold and hot temperatures, offer multiple surfacing options and colors, and provide superior fire resistance, ensured performance and long-term durability.

Green Roofing

Both functional and aesthetically appealing, Green Roofing (also referred to as Roof Gardens and Vegetative Roofing) improves the structure's energy efficiency while adding plant life and aesthetics in populated areas. Extensive or intensive, green roofs are lighter, more cost-effective and provide building owners and tenants with numerous ecological, technical and economic benefits:

Enhances a commercial building's aesthetic appearance.

Creates therapeutic and peaceful environments while increasing space for tenant use and recreation.

Can yield a longer life cycle than a traditional roof system.

Protects roof membrane from UV Rays, fluctuating temperatures and mechanical damage.

Retains 50%-90% of a typical rainfall on the roof.

Processes airborne toxins and re-oxygenates the air thus improving air quality.
